Mission
As the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, our mission is to train individuals who are competent in food safety, hygiene, and fundamental culinary techniques; equipped with strong professional ethics; skilled in practical applications; and capable of performing culinary arts in a conscientious and accurate manner. We aim to educate students as responsible professionals who understand both Turkish cuisine and essential world cuisines.
Vision
The vision of our department is to provide a qualified foundation in gastronomy education while contributing to the preservation and promotion of Turkish cuisine and local gastronomic culture. Embracing research and lifelong learning, we adopt a sustainable gastronomy approach and strive to become an innovative, productive, and nationally recognized department. We aim to cultivate students who are creative, entrepreneurial, analytical thinkers and who uphold professional values.
